Hi, I’m Victor,

A creative, outside the box thinker currently designing unique solutions in the medical device space at Worrell inc. (now Veranex). I have a Product Design degree from Montclair State University and I am relentless in the pursuit of discovering new and creative ideas.

My lifelong passion has been to find elegant creative solutions for existing needs.

  • Industrial Designer at Worrell now a Veranex Company

    (Summer 2021 - Present) 3 Years

As an Industrial Designer for Veranex, I am responsible for leading the design process for medical devices and equipment. This includes working closely with a team of designers, engineers, HFE, and other professionals to generate concepts and ideas, as well as driving the overall creative vision for the project. I also lead client meetings, presentations, and am responsible for the final execution of the industrial design. Through my work, I help create innovative and effective medical devices for some of the world's leading companies in the industry.

  • Design Intern at Johnson & Johnson (Spring-2021)

In a remote setting and part of the national Industrial Design/Human Factors team which specializes in medical device design. I collaborated with teams throughout the United States, taking a key role on critical projects, this vital experience has influenced my design capabilities and has grown my skills in research and development, ideation, applying design language to concepts, 3D modeling, sketching and rendering, presentation skills on video conferencing, project management skills in taking a project from ideation to completion.

Design Intern at Siemens Heathineers (Summer-2020)

As part of the NY Industrial Design team, which specializes in professional facing medical device design, I took part in the re-design of a benchtop Immunoassay analyzer. My internship coincided with the COVID-19 crisis and my project reflected the importance of such a device. This experience gave me the opportunity to generate unique concepts and hone my presentation skills weekly via video conferencing in a remote setting.

Design Intern at Movado Group Inc. (Fall-2019)

As part of the Hugo Boss/Ferrari ID Team, my internship in this fast-paced Corporate Agency setting gave me invaluable experience in concept generation, colorways, market research, design trends, and presentations. I had the opportunity to work on several watch designs for Hugo Boss, Ferrari, and Tommy Hilfiger brands.

Design Lab Assistant at MSU (Spring-2019 and Spring-2020)

Managed the university design studio by overseeing purchase orders and inventory. Assisted underclassmen handle machinery and advised on projects

  • Ingersoll Rand (Spring-2020)

As part of my MSU curriculum and working with industrial power tool leader, Ingersoll Rand, I re-designed their flagship product the 2235 Pneumatic Impact Wrench from the ground up — Check out the project here

Movado Group inc. (Fall-2019) - In tandem with internship

As part of my MSU Curriculum, this design competition objective was to design a creative watch for a chosen licensed brand. Using criteria in a design brief, a design was developed over the course of the semester and a final design was presented to the CEO and VP’s of Movado Inc. The project was in the form of a competition where I was awarded 2nd Place and received a scholarship grant.
